About Us
Slate Equestrian is a breeding, training and showing operation which officially started in 2011. We breed limited quality mares each year to create our future show horses and sales horses. We are currently located in Bailieboro, Ontario but are hoping to upgrade to a larger farm in the near future to allow our business to expand.
Owner
Slate Equestrian is owned by Taryn Stewart. Taryn has been around horses since she was very young, and started riding at the age of 5. She has broke and trained many youngsters and shown in the hunters and jumpers at many levels. She could not find exactly what she was looking for when searching for a young jumper prospect so she took the matters into her own hands and started breeding.
